  This brand new Remington 40-X TDR (Target / Deployment Rifle) was made in the custom shop and comes in a custom shop hard case which in turn holds a compartmentalized padded soft case for tactical deployment. Included are all papers including manual, proof of purchase & registration stickers and test target. It also includes a Dewey cleaning rod, Dewey rod guide with solvent port and finally a hearty lock. The rifle sports a hand lapped 20" heavy barrel marked "REMINGTON CUSTOM SHOP, ILION, NY" on top with a two chamber muzzle break treaded to accept accessories such as a suppressor. The receiver is topped by a Iron Brigade Armory rail while beneath is a custom tuned match trigger, heavy stainless recoil lug and integral mounting system. The green / black solid BCS 1000 composite stock is semi beavertail with a flatted bottom for bag riding, QD swivel studs with an additional one for bipod mounting and a Decelerator recoil pad. This is a no nonsense rifle meant for the serious rifleman, tuned to deliver extraordinary accuracy guaranteed MOA to 600 yards. The test target shows a 3 shot 100 yard group measuring slightly over ¼" center to center (whew!) using 168 grain BTHP match bullets. Caliber .308 Winchester
